Before ThredPay, our founding team spent years inside operations and finance teams at small Canadian businesses — reconciling spreadsheets, chasing down remittance deadlines, and explaining pay stubs to confused new hires.
Every tool we tried solved one piece of the puzzle and left the rest for us to stitch together by hand. So we set out to build the payroll platform we always wished existed: one thread connecting hours, pay, people, and compliance.
